This newly designed latch has a piston cam system to keep it locked in three positions.
It won't bump and scratch your handle while you play with it, it locks straight open.
It also locks securely when the knife is closed and open.

The Original Weehawk Blades were NOT false edged. They were sharpened secondary edged and you can see them on TAYLOR/SETO Manila Folders. Some custom models did have a false edge but the standard production models were sharpened.
Originally the "Weehawk" blade design was made popular by Jody Sampson.
If anyone deserves the credit to the polarization of the weehawk blade then Jody Sampson does deserve the most, he may not have initially designed the blade but he most definitely made it popular and therefore credit is due to him.
